Obituary Notice - Mrs. Mason's Death Shocked Community The sudden death of Mrs. Pearl Mason, 42, clerk to the manager of the State Institutions at Taft, here early this week, after a sudden stroke from which she died a few hours later, was a great shock to this entire community who had known and loved and respected her for the past 17 or 20 years. She was among the first clerical employees at Taft when the hospital was opened. She came here from Topeka, KS and was employed in the office of Chandler and Tunage, Attorney for several years. She is survived by a sister in Oklahoma City, Newark, NJ and one in her home town, where the remains will be taken for interment.
