| Mrs. S. F. Malone is our field solicitor and needs your hearty cooperation in her work. Send cash offerings to 825 Center Street, and supplies to Mr. G. A. Bigbee, 1300 Quincy Street. 405 Polk's Topeka City Directory Sarah Malone was married to Bailey Malone, they lived at 734 Garfield Street and owned their home. They were listed in the following books: 1926, 1929-1930, 1938, 1940, but were not in the 1952 or 1954. DR. CHARLES M. SHELDON encouraged more women to take the civil service examination and was delighted when Topeka's mayor placed MRS. S. F. MALONE, a black woman, with the Police Department in 1915, especially to handle the problems of the black community. Mrs. Malone worked on assault cases, relieved persons of firearms, skillfully manipulated an insane woman and saved two underage sisters from lives of prostitution. 406 | ||||||||||||||||||||
