| Will: Be it remembered that , William Atkinson Torrance of Harrison, Hudson county, State of New Jersey, United States of America. Being of sound mind and memory, But being well aware of the uncertainty of this life, do make, this my last will and testatment. After the payment of my just debts and Funeral expenses, I bequeath and devise as follows: To John Edward Torrance my eldest son Two certificates of my stock in the Torrance Mfg. Co. of the value of One Thousand ($1000) each. (My second son Robt. Edmund Torrance has already receeived his share of Stock in the Torrance Mfg. Co. which was Two certificates of One Thousand ($1000) each. To my Third son Geo. W. Torrance Two One Thousand ($1000) Dollars Certificates of my stock in the Torrence Mfg. Co. and to my fourth son Hugh sidney Torrance, Two One Thousand ($1000) certificates of my stock in the Torrance Mfg. Co., To my wife Sarah Ann Torrance one One thousand ($1000) Dollars certificates of my stock in the Torrence Mfg. Co. All my other holdings of which I have an equal share with my Brother, which includes, the house I live in, 16 Davis St., Harrison, N.J. The house next door which my Brother lives in, 14 Davis St. Harrison, N.J. and the farm near Harrington Delware, U.S.A. at my demise to be equally divided between my four sons (John E. Robt. E. George W. and Hugh Sidney) and my wife Sarah Ann Torrance. Inn the event of any of the above not surviving me those remaining, to take share and share alike. Knights of Honor Insurance Two Thousand ($2000) Dollars to be divided equally among my sons $500 each. My wife to have the One Thousand ($1000) Dollars of the Hartford Life Insurance Co., also the One Thousand ($1000) Dollars of the Metropolitan Insurance Co., In the event of my wife not surviving me, my four sons are to have the share in equal parts. The furniture I leave to my wife except the library which is for my eldest son John Edward Torrance.200 Liked music greatly, composition and discussion.
