| This is the earliest known female ancestor in my matrilineal line. I know it might not mean anything in the grand scheme of things, but I am kind of sad knowing that the line of females stretching back from my earliest female ancestors to me, ends with me. I still hope and pray I can adopt a daughter, because I have so much motherly love to share with a girl. It is my deepest longing. And though all of my ancestors lives have great meaning to me, 5th Great Grandmother, Mehitable "Hetty", whose last name I don't even know, holds a special place in my heart.
